Who we are

DHEA Compass is an independent editorial publication operating at the domain dhea.us.com. We publish investigative health journalism on DHEA, DHEA-S, and prescription hormone therapy options. We are not a medical practice, we do not provide medical care, and we do not collect protected health information.

What we collect when you visit

Our hosting infrastructure logs standard request metadata for every page load: timestamp, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, and User-Agent string. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for the purpose of operational diagnostics and abuse prevention.

We do not deploy first-party advertising trackers, behavioral profiling cookies, or persistent identifiers tied to your identity. We do not sell visitor data.

Cookies

We do not set cookies for tracking purposes. If our editorial system uses any session-storage flags for accessibility preferences or article-reading state, those are strictly first-party and contain no identifying information.

Analytics

We use server-side, IP-anonymized aggregate analytics to understand which articles readers find most useful and where editorial improvements are needed. We do not deploy Google Analytics or comparable client-side tagging systems on this property.

Outbound links and affiliate disclosures

When you click through to a third-party service from our pages — including telehealth hormone-care providers we have evaluated — DHEA Compass may receive a referral fee. This compensation does not influence our editorial coverage; our review process is independent of any commercial relationship. Where a relationship exists, it is disclosed in the page footer.

Children

Our publication is not directed to readers under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Adolescents researching hormone-related health topics should consult with a pediatric endocrinologist or their primary care provider.

Your rights

Visitors in the United States, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom have rights under applicable privacy law to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about them. Given the minimal data we collect, fulfilling these requests is typically straightforward. To exercise these rights, email editorial@dhea.us.com.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS enabled. Our hosting provider maintains SOC 2-compliant infrastructure. We do not store sensitive personal data on this property; the security perimeter we are responsible for is therefore narrow by design.

Changes to this policy

Updates to this policy will appear here with a revised effective date. Material changes will additionally be flagged in our footer for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance.
